Meet our facilitators

We pride ourselves on working with a variety of fantastic facilitators to bring high quality events to our members. Meet the event facilitators who run some of our most-loved events...

Jerry Nicholls
Tai Chi & Qigong

Jerry has been teaching Tai Chi and martial arts for over 35 years in the UK. He studied in China under the highly respected martial arts teacher, Master Ji Jian Cheng, Director of Physical Education at the University of Hangzhou. Tai Chi is a traditional Chinese martial art exercise which is put together by a sequence of gentle and flowing movements. Qigong involves training of the body and mind and can be done standing or seated. It focuses on posture and breathing and helps aid relaxation.

Tracie Gooch
Solo Dancing

Tracie's wonderful Mum was her inspiration for setting up her dance school, Tracie’s Latin Club. She loved dancing and regularly went waltzing and jitterbugging during the war. She passed on the gift of a love for dance to Tracie, who is now helping to create a buzzing and friendly Salsa scene in Hampshire. Tracie also has her own dance studio and has now expanded to teaching Argentine Tango, Ballroom & Latin, Bachata and Kizomba.

Grace Palmer
Creative writing

Grace is a writer and her stories have been published by Comma Press, Fudoki, Janus Literary, Magma, Riggwelter, FlashBack Fiction, National Flash Fiction Day and Ad Hoc Fiction. She has an MA in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University, is a Visiting Fellow at Bath Spa University and edits the Transnational Literature Journal. She is also a member of NAWE, the National Association of Writers in Education. Grace loves teaching creative writing and helping others discover their voice.

Catherine Nasskau
Mindfulness

Catherine has led a varied career based around helping people of all ages, which began with teaching self-development courses in London. She enjoys supporting people in achieving their goals and expressing themselves. She set up Mindful Surrey in 2018. It is a registered mindfulness charity, which aims to provide mindfulness training to all throughout Surrey, to help people be happier and find greater peace of mind amidst life's difficulties.
